Writers meeting with Richard Ford held by Josette Bushell-Mingo

Having been repeatedly awarded and honored in his own country, Richard Ford made a brand new breakthrough in Sweden with his novel Canada, as many discovered this exciting author for the first time. The story of fifteen year old Dell is a study of man’s darkest, most powerful and mysterious forces. Hear Richard Ford talk about his many years of writing, about what drives him to continue and why he loves Alice Munro.

Richard Ford, who by many have been compared to William Faulkner, will be interviewed by Josette Bushell-Mingo. This talk will be held in English.

Can 15 people write a novel?
The question is; can 15 people write a novel? The Dark Angels Collective is a group of British writers who came together to create Keeping Mum, a novel that loosely follows the journey begun by William Faulkner in As I Lay Dying. Scottish novelist Jamie Jauncey tells the story as one of the 15.

Jamie Jauncey will discuss his book and the challenges of collective writing with Helena Axelsson Fisk. Julian Stubbs, yet another of the 15, will join in as well. This talk will be held in English.
